Indications and mechanism of action:
Algopix Body Emulsion is a cosmetic product specially developed and intended for dry, itching and peeling skin. Thanks to the carefully selected combination of 10% urea with allanoin, green microalagae extract, as well as natural emollients – sweet almond oil and shea butter – the emulsion exerts a complex effect on problematic skin. It efficiently regulates peeling and recovery of corneal layer, soothes irritation and itching, softens and hydrates deeply the skin.
Urea – Urea is a natural moisturizer that enhances the capacity of corneal layer to retain water, thus improving skin hydration. In a concentration of 10%, it has keratoregulating and keratolytic effect – effectively regulates skin peeling and enhances the peeling of excessive horn cells. It acts and a conductor of the other active substances. It has also antimicrobial effect – protects the skin from further irritants that could induce irritation and itching. Protects from relapses.
Allantoin – soothes irritations and itching;
Extract of green microalgae – Alcoholic extract of Chlorella and Scenedesmus green microalgae. Thanks to the extremely rich content of biologically active substances – amino acids, vitamins, minerals, proteins etc., the algae extract exerts a diverse and favourable effect on the skin in topical administration. It has soothing and nourishing effect on the skin, stimulates surface microcirculation, anti-inflammatory and regeneration activity.
Sweet almond oil and shea butter – natural emollients with complex effect on the skin. They limit dehydration, moisten deeply and soften the skin. Powerful antioxidants. Soothing effect on microinflammations, irritations and skin itching. Stimulate surface microcirculation, thus enhancing skin regeneration.
The recommended use of the emulsion is twice daily, especially after bath, by gentle massage on the skin. Suitable for everyday use by children and adults. Parallel use of Algopix Shower Gel is recommended.
