What Impactin Duo is and what it is used for:

Impactin Duo contains two active substances: ramipril and amlodipine. Ramipril belongs to the group of medicines called АСЕ inhibitors (inhibitors of the angiotensin-converting enzyme). Amlodipine belongs to the group of medicines called calcium antagonists.

Ramipril acts by:

• Decreasing substances produced in your body, which can elevate the blood pressure.
• Assisting the relaxation and expansion of your blood vessels.
• Helping your heart to pump blood to your body more easily.

Amlodipine acts by:

• Relaxing and expanding blood vessels so that the blood can pass through them more easily.

Impactin Duo is used for treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in patients who can be adequately controlled by amlodipine and ramipril taken concurrently at the same doses, but as separate medicines.
