Medica helped with a donation the treatment of Ivaylo Karabanchev.
Ivaylo is 10 years old and his problems started at birth; he was born after a second abnormal pregnancy that occurs with many difficulties. Two years ago it was found that he suffered from progressive muscular dystrophy – Duchenne type. Since then his condition has worsened much. The amount needed for the first course of treatment at an Israeli hospital was BGN 26,000, as the treatment consisted of 3 courses.
The only hope for the treatment of Ivo is donors’ support !
