In 2011, which was a jubilee for Medica, the company managed to achieve outstanding results, namely:
• annual sales revenue has increased by 4.5 million compared to 2010.
• exports have doubled and their share of total sales revenue has increased from 25 % in 2010 to 36 % in 2011.
• the internal market turnover has marked a growth of 17.47 %, due equally to the increased sales of medical devices (16 %) and of pharmaceuticals (17 %).
In 2011 the share of medical devices in total sales was 62 %, while that of medicinal products – 38 %.
Despite the deepening crisis in the Eurozone and the threat of global recession, for 2011 Medica reported very good financial performance, achieving 100 % growth in net profit compared to last year and net profit on revenue of 11.8 %.
All these figures are in confirmation of the fact that the efforts of the whole team of Medica in connection with the restructuring of production and upgrading its product portfolio have been justified, and the results are obvious!
