From 19th to 22nd March in Istanbul the 8th World Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology, organized by APGI (French "Association de Pharmacie Galénique Industrielle"), APV (German "International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology") and A.D.R.I.T.E.L.F. (Italian "Associazione Docenti Ricercatori Italiani di Tecnologie e Legislazione Farmaceutiche").
The forum was attended by about 1,500 people in the field of pharmaceutical science and industry worldwide. On behalf of Medica AD, the Ch. Expert "Pharmaceutical Technology" and Ch. Expert "Product Development" participated.
On topics 72 short lectures were presented and 12 specialized symposia were conducted. In four sessions were presented more than 800 scientific posters.
Large manufacturers of excipients and active ingredients as well as laboratory equipment were presented on stands and by materials (Ashland Inc., BASF SE, Bùchi Labortechnik AG, Chemische Fabrik Budenheim KG, Evonik Industries AG, Harke GmbH, Merck Millipore, Rottendorf Pharma GmbH, Colorcon GmbH).
