Medica.bg в YouTubeMedica reported 18 % increase in sales for the first nine months of the year
For the first nine months of 2012 Medica earned revenue amounting to BGN 14.9 million and sales growth, both domestically and from export.
The share of the two main product groups in the total turnover of the company remains unchanged compared to the same period last year: medical devices – 61 %, pharmaceuticals – 39 %. The domestic market turnover is worth to BGN 10 million, and the realized growth is 24 % over the same period in 2011. This significant growth was achieved by increased revenues from sales in both product lines, with 21 % of medical products and 34 % of pharmaceuticals, respectfully. For the 9-month period the revenues from exports have grown by 7 %, the most noticeable is the increase of 13 % in pharmaceuticals. The turnover has reached BGN 4.9 million, with the share of pharmaceutical products being 58 % and that of the medical devices – 42 %. Export sales represent 33 % of the total company revenue realized for the 9-month period of 2012.
