Medica.bg в YouTubeMedica finished 2012 with 16 % growth in sales!
Revenues of 19.7 million BGN and 16 % growth in incomes from sales reported Medica for 2012. Annual sales had increased by 2.7 million BGN compared to 2011, the share of the two main product groups maintaining at a ratio of 61:39 in favor of medical devices.
The turnover realized on the domestic market is worth 13.2 million BGN and a growth of 21 % over the previous year was made. From the domestic sales traditionally larger was the share of medical devices (72 %), and in this product group the reported increase over 2011 was 20 %. Despite the weaker growth of the pharmaceutical market in Bulgaria and the projected 5 % growth of the sector in 2012, Medica has achieved 24 % increase in sales of pharmaceutical products at the domestic market.
Exports grew by 6 %, due primarily to the increased sales of pharmaceutical products. The share of incomes from exports to total sales revenue of Medica was 33 %. The reached turnover was 6.6 million BGN with the share of pharmaceutical products being 62 %, while the one of medical devices was 38 %. In 2012, the largest sale increase has been marked in Ukraine and Macedonia.
