On June 29 and 30 in the National Palace of Culture – Sofia, was held the Bulgarian pharmacists’ annual conference - Bulgarian Pharmaceutical Days 2013, which was attended by Medica.
The forum was held under the motto "Pharmacists – the most accessible healthcare professionals" and was closed by the traditional Master of Pharmacy Ball.
On a stand of 14 sq.m Medica presented its medical devices and pharmaceutical products.
This year Medica was nominated by pharmacists from across the country to participate in the "Producer of the Year" category. After an extremely controversial secret ballot, with a minimum lead, Actavis became winner in the category and Medica remained at the second position.
The stand of medical devices was visited by 500 masters of Pharmacy. The emphasis was on the following products: the renewed series of bandages and the new Comfort and Ideal crepe bandages; Sanplast attaching patches; Citoplast patch pad; postoperative dressings, Sterimed Algo impregnated dressings.
For medicinal products strong was the emphasis on the OTC products - Imomed, Troksemed and Famotidine Medica. The stand was visited by about 400 Masters of Pharmacy.
