On September 1st, 2008 Medica launched on the market medicinal product subject to medical prescription - AMLODIPINE MEDICA – which belongs to the group of medicinal products known as calcium antagonists.
AMLODIPINE MEDICA is used for treatment of high blood pressure. It is administered as monotherapy or in combination with other products lowering blood pressure. It is administered also for treatment of angina (stable stenocardia).
AMLODIPINE MEDICA dilates blood vessels, heart vessels including. Blood passes more easily through the blood vessels, tissue blood supply improves, oxygen supply improves, the vasoconstriction of heart blood vessels is reduced, and hence chest pain is prevented.
