Medica continued its support for child’s basketball, sponsoring a tournament with the participation of the national teams of Bulgaria, Greece, Austria and Romania.
The national basketball team for girls under 18 years was ranked first at the Medica International Tournament, which was held from 28th to 30th July 2013 in Veliko Tarnovo.
The Tournament was inaugurated by the President of the Bulgarian Basketball Federation Georgi Glushkov and the matches were played in the renovated hall of the “V. Levski” Palace of Culture and Sports.
In the contestation on supremacy the Bulgarian national players prevailed against their coevals from Greece by the infarcted 58:56.
Medals were awarded to the four teams participating in the contested tournament. The representatives of Medica – Marina Toteva and Ognjan Jotov – attended the awarding ceremony and bestowed special certificates of participation in the Tournament, as well as promotional materials and products of the company. As a sign of exceptional gratitude for the support of Medica, the organizers honoured with a medal Mrs. Tishkova, CEO of Medica.
