Medica is launching Meloxicam on the market with the trade name LOXIMED, subject to medical prescription and is in the distribution network since 01.09.2008. LOXIMED is supplied as 7.5 and 15 mg tablets. It belongs to the group of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), and it inhibits the inflammation process and pain associated with it in joint and muscle diseases.
LOXIMED is used for treatment of: rheumatoid arthritis, exacerbated osteoarthritis (arthrosis, degenerative joint disease), ankylosing spondylitis (Behterev’s disease), pain in sciatica and lumbago.
