Medica.bg в YouTubeMedica AD received the award for achievements in energy efficiency
For the first time this year in Bulgaria, on an official ceremony held on November 25th 2008 in Royal Hall of the Sheraton Hotel, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) awarded prizes for excellent achievements in the field of energy efficiency.
An international jury designated the nominees and the winners of the annual 2008 awards in the following categories:
? Successes in implementation of the sustainable development approach to energy efficiency
? Most effective project for energy efficiency
? Achievements in energy efficiency of small and medium enterprises
The energy efficiency awards are designed to distinguish the companies that have used most effectively the EBRD credit line funds for sustainable energy, for energy saving investments and environmental protection.
Among the special guests at the event were James Hislop, EBRD Director for Bulgaria; Galina Tosheva and Valentin Ivanov, Deputy Ministers of Economy and Energy; Ramadan Atalay, Chairman of the Energy Committee and Ivo Prokopiev, Chairman of the Confederation of the Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria, who presented the award to Stoicho Pangev, Financial Director of Medica AD.
Medica proved its responsible civil and corporative position towards environment and society by energy efficiency investments.
