Medica AD organized a press conference at which it presented the results of the research conducted in 2008 at the order of the Company for the impact of stress and its reflection on the quality of life of the people. The study was conduced by the SCALA Marketing and Social Research Agency, among people of the age of 25 to 55 years, residing in the capital.
Participants in the press conference were Prof. Dr. Stefka Yancheva, M.D. – Head of the First Neurological Clinic at the Saint Naum University Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Neurology and Psychiatry and Iva Ilieva – Research Director of Scala Agency.
Medica AD presented to the journalists attending the conference its Dietary Supplement “Zero Stress” which was created after a series of studies and meticulous research of the market needs. There are many symptoms signaling that a person is subjected to a rather intensive negative stress – nervousness, dissatisfaction, insomnia and depression. The so called distress makes not only the mind but also the body ill. According to various expert opinions 75% to 90% of the diseases are related mainly to stress. The question how to overcome and counteract stress in our daily life also arises here. The specialists attending the conference tried to answer this question, emphasizing that the first step for coping with the problem is its cognition and treatment in due time.
