By the White Concert for piano, which was performed on April 7th, exactly at 12 o`clock in the garden of Alexandrovska University Hospital, Medica sent a special greeting to all the physicians, dental surgeons, pharmaceutists, nurses, obstetricians, laboratory assistants and hospital attendants who dedicated their lives to the preservation of people’s health.
Hosts of the piano show performed by the pianist Orlin Ivanov were the Medical University, Sofia and Alexandrovska University Hospital. The White Concert was preceded by a brief official part whose special guests were the Rector of the Medical University, Sofia, Prof. Dr. Vanyo Mitov, M.D., Dr. BSc. and the Director of Alexandrovska University Hospital, Assoc. Prof. Assen Zlatev, M.D. Medica AD has the ambition to turn the White Concert into an annual tradition which shall mark the International Health Day. The initiative shall be located in various health care institutions in Sofia and throughout the country.
April 7th is celebrated worldwide as the World Health Day as on this date in 1948 in Geneva was created the World Health Organization (WHO).
