Prektazidin is a product of anti-stenocardia action. It reduces the frequency of stenocardic attacks and increases the body's tolerance to physical exertion. Reduces the need of nitrates use (nitroglycerin).
Prektazidin reduces the frequency, duration and severity of attacks of vertigo, tinnitus and hearing loss.
Prektazidin is administered in case of:
- long-term treatment of ischemic heart disease (prevention of stenocardic attacks, used independently or in combination with other drugs)
- treatment of impaired hearing and balance related to insufficient blood flow to the inner ear.
