FAMOTIDINE MEDICA

Each film-coated tabled contains famotidine 20 mg as active substance. Cellulose microcrystalline, Lactose monohydrate, Hypromelose, Primogel, Talc, Magnesium stearate and colorant are used as excipients.

Famotidine 20 mg is intended for treatment of:
active gastric and duodenal ulcer
erosive gastritis and gastroduodenitis
reflux esophagitis

Zoellinger–Ellison syndrome whenever treatment with proton pump inhibitors (omeprasoles) is not possible
Famotidine 20 mg inhibits and reduces hydrochloric acid secretion and reduces the irritating action of gastric juice on gastric and intestinal mucosa creating healing environment.
